How to work through it

01

Separate the observed signal from the imagined product

Begin with the supplied term, public topic context. Record only what that intake establishes: the phrase circulated within the public topic signal. Do not infer controls, rules, map scale, visual fidelity, release plans, developer identity, player behavior, or audience satisfaction. A case-study record becomes useful when every unknown stays visibly unknown.

  • Observed: term, window, heat, representative URL
  • Unobserved: gameplay, ownership, availability, outcomes
  • Editorial question: what makes the concept legible on video
02

Decompose the nation-scale idea into reviewable systems

Describe possible systems as hypotheses rather than product facts: population movement, infrastructure, resources, public services, weather, policy choices, and regional trade-offs. For each system, name the visual evidence a concept video would need, the simplifications viewers might misunderstand, and the source required before using real demographic, geographic, political, or economic claims.

03

Publish a method, not a fictional result

A responsible case-study output can include a concept premise, source ledger, system map, storyboard, uncertainty labels, and reviewer questions. It should not include fabricated screenshots, a fake HUD, customer quotations, performance numbers, or claims that SEELE produced the circulating post. Close with what remains to be tested in an authorized production workspace and what would require external factual review.
