Identify what the audience must understand
Document whether the character, face, voice, scene, demonstration, or endorsement is synthetic, altered, licensed, or performed by a real person. Identify sponsorship, affiliate, gifted-product, or brand ownership relationships separately. Map jurisdictions, channel policies, campaign contracts, and audience vulnerabilities that affect wording. A disclosure should not overstate how the content was produced when the provenance record is incomplete. Verify legal and platform requirements with qualified current sources; this editorial guide is not legal advice and the public discussion signal is not policy evidence.
