Choose the extension boundary
Select a source frame where motion, occlusion, focus, lighting, and subject geometry are readable enough to continue. Record the exact source asset, version, timecode, preceding action, camera vector, focal behavior, and scene state at that boundary. Avoid cutting at a moment when hands cross the face, a prop disappears behind the body, or fast motion hides the intended direction unless the test is specifically designed for that difficulty. The boundary record is the anchor for evaluation even if the authorized tool ultimately uses different inputs or exposes no dedicated extension control.
